Electrician with CDL - Direct Hire!

Seeking an Electrician with a CDL A License for a direct hire opportunity with our client in St. Augustine, FL.

This position offers full benefits including PTO, Medical, Dental, 401k!

Salary is between $22- $26 per hour (based on experience).

Responsibilities:

• Operate and maintain construction equipment, including derrick diggers, dump trailers, and flatbed trailers.
• Perform hand digging and manual labor as required for electrical construction projects.
• Assist with the installation and maintenance of traffic signals, highway lighting, and other electrical systems.
• Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems, including wiring, conduits, and electrical control panels.
• Transport materials and equipment to job sites using company vehicles.
• Participate in safety meetings and adhere to all safety protocols.
• Work collaboratively with other team members and report to the foreman or project manager.
• Handle physical demands of the job, including lifting heavy objects and working in extreme weather conditions.

Qualifications:

• Valid Class A CDL with a clean driving record.
• Ability to perform physical labor and work in various weather conditions.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills.
• Willingness to commute to the St. Augustine office and job sites within a 60-mile radius.
• Availability for early morning shifts starting at 6:30 AM.
• Experience with heavy construction equipment and electrical systems preferred.
• Electrical journeyman's card or equivalent experience is a huge plus!
• Knowledge of electrical codes and safety regulations.
• Proficiency in reading blueprints, schematics, and technical diagrams.
• Experience in installing, maintaining, and troubleshooting electrical systems.
• Ability to work with high voltage and low voltage systems.
• Familiarity with using electrical testing equipment and tools.
