Seeking an experienced Utility Superintendent to lead a crew in the installation, maintenance, and repair of underground utility systems, including water, sewer, storm drains, and electrical lines. This role ensures projects are completed on time, within budget, and meet required quality and safety standards in the Charlotte Metro area.
Salary: $75k - $100k/yr. (BOE)
Schedule: Full-time, Monday – Friday, 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM
Industry: Heavy Civil Construction, Grading, Utilities, Demolition

- Proven experience as a Utility Superintendent or in a similar supervisory role within construction or infrastructure development.
- Strong knowledge of utility installation, site layout, and project scheduling.
- Proficiency in reading and managing CAD and PDF files related to construction projects.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to handle on-site conflicts effectively.
- Strong communication and leadership abilities, capable of coordinating multiple teams.
- Experience with budget management and cost control.
- Develop and implement long-term job site plans to ensure efficient project execution.
- Oversee the layout of projected work, ensuring accuracy and compliance with project specifications.
- Schedule material deliveries as necessary to maintain project timelines.
- Attend pre-construction and planning meetings throughout the project lifecycle.
- Manage workforce efficiency, ensuring proper allocation of man-hours and overall jobsite cost control.
- Oversee and manage PDF and CAD files, ensuring accurate documentation and integration with project plans.
- Resolve conflicts and issues that arise on-site, maintaining smooth project flow.
- Step in as Foreman when necessary, providing direct leadership and hands-on support.
