DIRECT HIRE: A fantastic opportunity for an experienced MEP Superintendent to join a dynamic team.  

📍 Location: Buffalo, NY.
Per Diem: Paid per working day at GSA rate for site city, travel to/from site at start/end of project also covered
💰 Pay Range: $145K - $166K

Key Responsibilities: 
  • Boots-to-the-ground leader that can execute large-scale, mission-critical construction projects, from groundbreaking through commissioning and handoff
  • Own daily site operations, coordinate trades, subcontractors, GC relationships and union representatives simultaneously
  • Enforce safety, quality standards and drive schedules to aggressive delivery milestones
  • Read and interpret complex structural, mechanical and electrical drawings, specs, RFI's and resolve field issues quickly
  • Manage onsite logistics, materials and equipment coordination
  • Progress reporting to internal stakeholders and external partners is vital
Required Skills/Qualifications:
  • Demonstrated experience leading on-site construction activities for large-scale, mission-critical infrastructure projects
  • Proven ability to manage multiple subcontractors while coordinating effectively with general contractors, owners, and union representatives
  • Strong working knowledge of applicable building codes, safety regulations, and industry standards, including OSHA, NFPA, and NEC requirements
  • Ability to read, interpret, and apply structural, mechanical, and electrical drawings, specifications, submittals, and Requests for Information (RFIs)
  • Experience managing project schedules, site logistics, material deliveries, equipment coordination, and day-to-day field operations
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience supporting hyperscale data center construction projects exceeding 50 MW and $100 million in value
  • Knowledge of liquid cooling systems and high-density power infrastructure
  • Experience overseeing or coordinating commissioning activities for mission-critical facilities
Physical Demands: 
  • Ability to walk active construction sites for extended periods throughout the day
  • Frequent climbing of stairs, ladders, and access platforms in multi-story facilities
  • Ability to stand, bend, kneel, crouch, and reach while inspecting equipment and installations
  • Must be able to work in indoor and outdoor environments, including exposure to varying weather conditions, noise, dust, and construction activities
  • Ability to lift, carry, push, or pull up to 25 pounds regularly and up to 50 pounds occasionally
  • Ability to wear required PPE, including hard hat, safety glasses, gloves, steel-toe boots, hearing protection, and fall protection equipment as required
  • Must be capable of accessing confined spaces, elevated work areas, and equipment rooms when necessary
  • Ability to read plans, equipment labels, test instruments, and computer screens
  • Frequent use of laptops, tablets, and mobile devices for documentation, reporting, and commissioning activities
  • Ability to travel as required and work extended hours, weekends, or shift schedules
