Calendar Operator
Hourly Range: $26 - $29hr

Role & Responsibilities:
Operate and monitor calendering machines to produce plastic, rubber, or composite sheets according to production specifications
Set up machinery by adjusting rollers, temperature, speed, and pressure settings to achieve required product thickness and quality
Inspect materials during production for defects, ensuring compliance with quality control standards
Load raw materials into the calendering system and unload finished products for packaging or further processing
Perform routine maintenance, cleaning, and minor repairs on equipment to ensure optimal operation
Record production data, including material usage, output quantities, and machine performance
Collaborate with quality assurance and production teams to meet production schedules and resolve process issues
Follow all company safety policies and procedures, including lockout/tagout and PPE requirements
- Must have completed high school/GED education
- Must have 1-3 years manufacturing equipment operating experience
- Must be able to work a 24/7 rotating shift
- Must be able to lift 50 pounds
- Must adhere to safety regulations in a pharmaceutical manufacturing environment
- Good mathematical skills
- Will need experience in troubleshooting, production yields and cGMP and ISO standards
- Must be able to pass a background check and drug screen
