Lead Handyman

Seeking a Lead Handyman for a direct hire opportunity with our client in Silver Spring, MD.

Pay is between $30 - $40 per hour (based on experience)

The Handyman Lead will manage, train and work with a team of technicians on-site, ensuring the projects execution. 

Responsibilities:

• The handyman lead will be actively involved in the advance operations of our home maintenance company within the Chevy Chase, Kensington and Bethesda areas.
• You will be responsible for leading and performing advanced home repair and maintenance tasks, including high-level troubleshooting, major repairs, plumbing, electrical and preventive maintenance.
• You will also coordinate with members to keep records of work and materials as well as other professionals to ensure optimal job completion.
• You will oversee other technicians and play a pivotal role in supervising and mentoring junior and intermediate technicians, ensuring that all tasks are executed to the highest standards.
• Be able to communicate effectively with clients to determine and fulfill their desires.  Then have the skills to source, order and obtain materials to execute the job.

Qualifications:

• Proven 5-10 years of experience in the home maintenance and construction industry.
• Proficiency in basic plumbing, electrical, carpentry, and painting skills
• Strong problem-solving abilities with a keen attention to detail.
• Strong leadership and organizational skills
• Competence in basic computer software
• Valid driver’s license
