Seeking a HVAC Sales Representative for a leading commercial and industrial heating, ventilating, and air-conditioning (HVAC) service company in the Southeast. This position will be out of Charleston, SC.

Pay rate: $70 K-90 K plus Bonus (Pay is based on experience) OR let us know what you need

Relocation: Relocation assistance is available for the ideal candidate

Shift: Mon -Fri (8 am to 5 pm)

Responsibilities for HVAC Sales Representative:

Business Development:
  • Identify and qualify potential clients within the target market (industrial, commercial).
  • Conduct market research and competitive analysis to identify new opportunities.
  • Develop and maintain a strong network of industry contacts (engineers, contractors, architects).
  • Attend industry events (trade shows, conferences) to generate leads and build relationships
· Project Development:
  • Prepare and deliver technical presentations and proposals to clients.
  • Conduct site visits, perform system assessments, and gather project requirements.
  • Collaborate with engineering teams to design and develop optimal HVAC solutions.
  • Prepare and submit project bids and proposals.
  • Negotiate contracts and pricing with clients.
· Customer Relationship Management:
  • Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with clients.
  • Provide excellent customer service throughout the entire sales cycle.
  • Address client concerns and resolve any issues that may arise.
  • Monitor project progress and ensure timely completion.
· Technical Expertise:
  • Possess a strong understanding of HVAC systems, including:
  • Air conditioning and refrigeration systems
  • Heating systems (boilers, chillers, etc.)
  • Building automation systems (BAS)
  • Energy-efficient technologies
  • Stay current on industry trends, technologies, and regulations.
· Sales Performance:
  • Achieve and exceed sales targets and quotas.
  • Track and report sales activity and performance metrics.
  • Continuously improving sales strategies and techniques.

Qualifications for HVAC Sales Representative:
  • 5+ years of experience in HVAC industry, preferably within the industrial or commercial sector.
  • Proven track record of success in achieving sales targets.
  • Strong technical knowledge of HVAC systems and applications.
  • Proficiency in CRM software (e.g., Salesforce) and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Ability to travel within the assigned territory.
  • Minimum of three years of experience with self-generated direct sales.
  • Bachelor’s degree preferred.
