Electrical Foreman
Seeking a Foreman and Journeyman Electricians with commercial electrical experience for a direct hire opportunity with our client, a well established electrical contractor in Thonotosassa, FL

- Foreman Pay: $32 - $34+ per hour (based on experience)
- Journeyman Pay: $27 - $30+ per hour (based on experience)
As a Foreman, you will manage a 6-8 man crew on commercial jobs, ensuring safety and efficiency in all tasks. Journeyman electricians will perform troubleshooting, installations, and repairs under the direction of a Master Electrician.
Responsibilities:
- Oversee crew and assign tasks on commercial job sites (Foreman)
- Test electrical systems with voltmeters, oscilloscopes, and ohmmeters
- Document testing results, observations, and steps taken to resolve issues
- Repair electrical issues by replacing or installing components and wiring
- Assess electrical situations using testing devices and blueprints
- Maintain a safe work environment by adhering to OSHA and company safety guidelines
- Operate ladders, scaffolding, and lifts safely
- Ensure equipment is in good working condition
Qualifications:
- Completed electrician apprenticeship
- Proficiency with the National Electrical Code and local codes
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
- Ability to read blueprints
- Must pass a criminal background check and drug test
- Valid state electrician’s license
- Preferred: Previous experience in commercial electrical systems and ground-up construction
