We are seeking an Environmental Health & Safety (EHS) Coordinator for a Direct Hire opportunity in Orangeville, UT. The EHS Coordinator will support the development, implementation, and maintenance of workplace environmental, health, and safety programs to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and company policies.
This role works closely with management and employees to promote a strong safety culture, reduce workplace risk, and maintain a safe and environmentally responsible work environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct routine workplace safety inspections, audits, and hazard assessments.
  • Identify unsafe conditions or behaviors and recommend appropriate corrective actions.
  • Support investigations of workplace incidents, injuries, and near-misses.
  • Track corrective actions to ensure timely completion and resolution.
  • Assist with maintaining compliance with applicable workplace safety regulations and company policies.
  • Assist with environmental compliance activities, including waste management, spill prevention, chemical storage, and related programs.
  • Support pollution prevention and sustainability initiatives.
  • Help identify opportunities to reduce environmental risks and improve environmental performance.
  • Maintain EHS policies, procedures, permits, Safety Data Sheets (SDSs), and required records.
  • Track EHS performance metrics and prepare reports for management.
  • Maintain accurate and organized EHS documentation to support regulatory compliance and internal requirements.
  • Serve as a point of contact for employee EHS-related questions.
  • Participate in safety committees and continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Support regulatory inspections and internal EHS audits.
  • Work collaboratively with employees and leadership to promote safe work practices and strengthen the site's safety culture.
Basic Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Environmental Health & Safety, Environmental Science, Industrial Hygiene, Occupational Safety, or a related field, or equivalent relevant experience.
  • 1–3 years of experience in EHS, safety coordination, environmental compliance, or a related role preferred.

  • Leadership: Ability to influence safety behaviors, promote employee engagement, and support change in a fast-paced environment.
  • Technology: Proficiency with EHS management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
