Seeking Industrial Pipefitter Foreman for a direct hire opportunity with our client in Indianapolis, IN.

Pay is between $30 - $35 per hour (based on experience)
The Industrial Pipefitter Foreman is responsible for overseeing the assembly and installation of piping systems for new and existing industrial and commercial construction projects. This role requires leadership in managing teams, ensuring quality workmanship, maintaining safety compliance, and coordinating with other trades.
Responsibilities:
- Supervise and lead a team of pipefitters and apprentices in the fabrication, assembly, installation, and maintenance of piping systems, including hydronic, steam, natural gas, chilled/hot water, and compressed air systems.
- Ensure compliance with all safety regulations and company policies.
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and specifications to determine project requirements.
- Coordinate with project managers, engineers, and other trades to ensure smooth workflow and timely completion of projects.
- Perform quality control inspections to ensure adherence to standards and specifications.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to pipefitting installations.
- Maintain project documentation, including daily reports, work schedules, and safety records.
- Train and mentor apprentices and junior pipefitters to develop their technical skills and knowledge.
Qualifications:
- 8+ years’ experience in industrial/commercial pipefitting.
- 3+years’ experience as a foreman or supervisor preferred.
- Welding experience is a plus.
- Extensive experience in new commercial and industrial construction.
- Proficiency in reading and interpreting construction blueprints and specifications.
- General computer, writing, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Must pass pre-employment drug screening and background check.
- Valid Driver’s License with the ability to travel between job sites.
- In-depth knowledge of all phases of building construction and coordination with multiple trades.
- Strong commitment to workplace safety and adherence to OSHA regulations.
- Standing, bending, reaching, and lifting for prolonged periods.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds repetitively.
- Climbing ladders and working from scaffolding and lifts.
- Capable of driving long distances (up to 14 hours per day) between job sites.
- Performing manual labor as required.
