Superior Skilled Trades is seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Electrical & Low Voltage Estimator to join a growing team. This position is responsible for preparing accurate project estimates and supporting preconstruction efforts for electrical and structured cabling projects. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of construction plans and specifications, excellent organizational skills, and the ability to manage multiple bids in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities
- Develop detailed cost estimates and bid proposals for electrical and low-voltage projects.
- Review construction drawings, specifications, and project documents to perform accurate quantity takeoffs.
- Obtain and evaluate pricing from vendors, suppliers, and subcontractors.
- Assist with value engineering efforts to identify cost-effective solutions while maintaining project requirements.
- Prepare pricing for change orders, revisions, and project modifications.
- Maintain and update estimating databases, pricing libraries, and proposal templates.
- Ensure estimates and proposals are complete, accurate, and compliant with company standards.
- Support preconstruction planning and coordination efforts with project management and operations teams.
- Track multiple bids simultaneously while meeting established deadlines.
Qualifications
- Previous estimating experience in electrical construction, low-voltage systems, structured cabling, or a related field preferred.
- Ability to read and interpret construction drawings, specifications, and scope documents.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Experience working with estimating software; familiarity with Intellibid Electrical Estimating is highly preferred.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office applications.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
Compensation & Benefits
- Base Salary: $65,000 annually

- Contributing to the ongoing development and improvement of estimating systems, workflows, and best practices.
