Salary Range: $95,000–$115,000 annually
Role Overview
Superior Skilled Trades is partnered with a company seeking a highly skilled Senior HAAS CNC Machinist for a direct-hire opportunity in Trainer, PA. In this critical role, you will apply your extensive machining expertise to set up, operate, and ensure the quality of precision components produced on CNC equipment. You will play a key role in delivering high-precision parts that meet strict quality standards while actively contributing to continuous improvement initiatives.


Key Responsibilities
  • Set up and operate HAAS CNC machines, including lathes, mills, and other machining equipment, to produce high-quality components in accordance with engineering specifications.
  • Use advanced precision measuring instruments (calipers, micrometers, gauges, etc.) to verify dimensions and tolerances of finished parts.
  • Develop, optimize, and troubleshoot machining processes, including tooling selection and fixture design, to improve efficiency, accuracy, and repeatability.
  • Maintain accurate and detailed production documentation, including work orders and quality control records.
  • Support continuous improvement efforts related to quality, productivity, and safety.

Required & Preferred Qualifications
Required:
  • 6+ years of experience in lathe machining with strong CNC programming and operational expertise.
  • Proven ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and blueprints.
  • In-depth knowledge of machining processes, materials, and quality control standards.
  • Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
Preferred:
  • Experience using Mastercam for CNC program development.
  • Strong familiarity with HAAS CNC machines.

Technical Skills & Technologies
  • Advanced expertise in CNC machining, setup, and programming (including G-code).
  • Proficiency with precision measurement tools and inspection techniques.
  • Strong understanding of machining materials, tooling, and best practices.
