We are seeking experienced Industrial Electricians for a permanent, direct-hire opportunity in the Orange City, FL area. Candidates must have hands-on electrical experience in a wastewater treatment plant or water treatment facility and be capable of installing, wiring, troubleshooting, and maintaining industrial electrical systems and equipment.
Pay: $32–$36/hour, based on experience
Schedule: Monday–Thursday, 7:00 AM–5:30 PM
Hours: Four 10-hour shifts per week
Start Date: ASAP
Responsibilities
- Bend, install, and run electrical conduit.
- Pull and terminate electrical wiring.
- Install and wire electrical panels and equipment.
- Install light fixtures and other electrical components.
- Connect wiring to breakers, transformers, and other electrical components.
- Install, assemble, test, maintain, and repair electrical systems and equipment.
- Troubleshoot and diagnose electrical issues using appropriate test equipment.
- Perform continuity and electrical testing using voltmeters, ohmmeters, and other tools.
- Read and interpret blueprints, electrical schematics, and one-line diagrams.
- Work with and troubleshoot PLC-related systems.
- Inspect electrical systems to ensure proper operation, safety, and code compliance.
- Identify electrical hazards and recommend appropriate corrective actions.
- Maintain a safe and organized work environment.
- Work effectively with other electricians, trades, supervisors, and project personnel.
Required Qualifications
- 3+ years of industrial electrical experience.
- Required: Hands-on electrical experience in a wastewater treatment plant or water treatment facility.
- Experience bending and installing conduit, pulling wire, terminating connections, and wiring panels.
- Strong electrical troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to read and interpret electrical blueprints, schematics, and one-line diagrams.
- Working knowledge of the National Electrical Code (NEC).
- Understanding of PLCs and industrial electrical systems.
- Proficiency with electrical testing equipment, including voltmeters and ohmmeters.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
- Must possess standard electrical hand tools.
Preferred Qualifications
- Class A CDL.
- Experience troubleshooting industrial control systems and PLCs.
