Pipe Welder/Fitter

We are seeking an experienced Pipe Welder/Fitter to support construction and facility operations in a fast-paced industrial environment. This position will perform welding and fabrication on process piping, structural steel, and facility equipment, including both normal and high-pressure piping systems.

Responsibilities

• Perform TIG (GTAW) pipe welding on process piping systems

• Weld and fabricate piping, structural steel, supports, and related components

• Cut, fit, fabricate, and assemble metal components according to drawings and specifications

• Read and interpret blueprints, engineering drawings, and welding procedures

• Perform welds in accordance with ASME B31.3 and AWS D1.1

• Inspect completed welds for quality and compliance

• Use welding, cutting, fitting, and precision measuring equipment

• Follow all site safety requirements and procedures

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent

• 1+ year of TIG/GTAW pipe welding experience

• 1+ year of process piping experience

• Experience with ASME B31.3 normal and high-pressure piping

• Ability to fit and build piping runs using measurement and layout tools

• Experience with SMAW, GMAW, FCAW, fitting, arc gouging, and oxy-acetylene is preferred

• Knowledge of AWS/ASME welding codes and welding safety practices preferred

Schedule & Requirements

• Must be flexible to work 6 AM–6 PM or 6 PM–6 AM, including overtime and weekends as needed

• Must be comfortable working outdoors, at heights, and in confined spaces

• Must be able to lift/carry up to 50 lbs. and perform physically demanding work

• Must meet applicable U.S. export-control/ITAR eligibility requirements
