Seeking a Travelling Civil Superintendent with Utility Solar Project experience for a direct hire opportunity with a growing Solar Energy Contractor in Moore County, TN.
This position offers full benefits including PTO, Medical, Dental and 401k! 
Pay: $120-130k annually, based on experience and Certification/s (SWPPP and BMP)

Projects range in size from 100 MW up. Average project is 300MW.

Job Responsibilities for Civil Superintendent:
  • Manage very large 1000+ acre land projects
  • Supervise crews and subcontractors on utility solar projects - road clearing and grading, culverts, retention ponds, substation pads etc
  • Must be able to run equipment-backhoe, excavator etc
  • Maintaining accurate records of construction activities, including progress reports, safety records
  • Attend meetings and update Project Managers
 
Qualifications for Civil Superintendent:
  • 3 plus years’ experience as a Superintendent overseeing/managing Solar construction project.
  • Experience working with Self-performing GC & sub-contractors on utility solar projects is required
  • Heavy equipment and OSHA certification a plus
  • Knowledge of SWPPP (Stormwater Pollution Prevention Plan) a required
  • BMP Certification required. In the context of construction, BMP stands for Best Management Practices. It refers to specific methods and techniques used to prevent or control stormwater runoff and the discharge of pollutants, particularly sediment, from a construction site.
  • Procore and Excel experience highly desired
  • Must be able to travel up to 90% of the time
