Construction Training Program Manager - Metro Washington
DIRECT HIRE: Seeking an experienced and mission-driven Construction Training Program Manager to support and lead key elements of our education and training programs. In this role, you’ll serve as a bridge between instructors, students, and internal staff—ensuring our curriculum remains high-quality, student-centered, and aligned with industry standards.
The ideal candidate will bring a strong background in adult education, program management, and a passion for helping others succeed. You’ll play a central role in maintaining instructional excellence, supporting professional development for educators, and continuously improving the learning experience for our students.

Salary Range: $60K - $80K (based on experience)
Hybrid Schedule: Monday - Thursday onsite (9am - 6pm), Friday virtual (8am - 12:30pm)
No Weekends
Key Responsibilities:
- Observe and evaluate instructors to ensure effective teaching practices and high-quality learning environments
- Provide constructive feedback, coaching, and professional development support to enhance instructional performance
- Ensure accurate tracking of student progress, attendance, and outcomes using Flashpoint Construction Education software
- Contribute to curriculum development and refinement, ensuring alignment with industry needs and adult learning principles
- Identify and implement improvements in program delivery, instructional materials, and training logistics to enhance learner engagement and retention
- Monitor and maintain compliance across all Registered Training Programs, including site audits and program quality assessments
- Visit off-site training locations to evaluate instructional delivery and facility readiness
- Collaborate with Academy leadership to support academic planning, scheduling, and learner support services
- Participate in Academy events, instructor workshops, and ongoing process improvement initiatives
- Support the integration of virtual learning and blended education models to meet the evolving needs of adult learners
Required Qualifications:
- Strong understanding of adult learning principles, instructional design, or workforce development
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to mentor instructors and connect with learners
- Collaborative mindset with the ability to work across teams and support organizational goals
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and virtual platforms (Teams, Zoom, etc.)
- Exceptional organizational skills with an ability to manage educational logistics and track learner outcomes
- Reliable transportation and ability to travel locally (approx. 20%)
- 1+ year of experience in construction-related training or adult vocational education
- Experience teaching or supporting adult learners in an educational or training setting
- NCCER certifications related to instruction or skilled trades
- Experience with FlashPoint Construction Education software
- Direct background in a construction trade such as Carpentry, Electrical, or Plumbing
