Seeking a Field Service Technician with pump experience for a direct hire opportunity with our client in Anaheim, CA.
This position offers full benefits including PTO, Medical, Dental, Vision, and 401k!
Pay: $35 - $40 per hour (based on experience)
Responsibilities:
- Repair, fabricate, install and remove a variety of centrifugal, gear, diaphragm, and reciprocating pumps as well as other related rotating equipment, both in-shop and in the field; also, system troubleshooting, field alignment and equipment start-up, maintain company vehicles and shop equipment, accurately and professionally complete all field tickets and job reports.
- Responsible to complete all tasks from installation, startup, scheduled maintenance, functional & performance testing, training, project closeout, and warranty transition
- Check all equipment after installation and prior to start-up of pumps and associated equipment within the allotted time and in a professional manner
- Get service tickets signed by appropriate company representative before leaving location
- Works with customer to understand equipment issues, troubleshoot and diagnose root-cause problems, and arranges necessary parts and service to resolve issues
- Communicate relevant customer comments, inquiries, questions or concerns to appropriate personnel
- Be available for after-hours field service when needed
Qualifications:
- High School Diploma required
- 3-5 years pump experience
- Experience with rotating equipment repair
- Experience with vibration and alignment tools
- Must have your own hand tools
- Physical Demand: Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs
- Working Conditions: Outside field jobs; extreme cold/heat
- Travel: As needed; acceptable driving record according to company guidelines; company vehicle
