Manufacturing Engineer

Position Summary
We are seeking a Manufacturing Engineer to plan, develop, and improve manufacturing processes within a composites environment. This role supports new product introduction, cost estimating, process development, and continuous improvement across production operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Review engineering drawings and customer specifications
- Develop cost estimates including materials, labor, tooling, and vendor pricing
- Support New Product Introduction (NPI) from concept through first article inspection (FAI)
- Create and improve methods of manufacture within ERP systems
- Provide technical support to production teams and troubleshoot manufacturing issues
- Coordinate with vendors, suppliers, and internal teams
- Maintain and improve data within ERP systems
- Support programming and operation of manufacturing equipment (e.g., cutting systems)
- Promote safety and ensure compliance with OSHA and company standards
Qualifications
- 2+ years of manufacturing engineering experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Manufacturing Engineering or related field
- Experience in composites manufacturing is a plus
- Strong understanding of manufacturing processes, cost estimating, and production workflows
- Ability to work cross-functionally with shop floor, vendors, and leadership
Work Environment
- Combination of office and manufacturing floor setting
- Must be able to work in a fast-paced production environment
