Mechanical Estimator

Direct Hire Opportunity with Superior Skilled Trades

We are seeking an experienced Mechanical Estimator to join a growing team. This role is responsible for preparing accurate cost estimates for commercial mechanical projects, including HVAC, piping, and plumbing systems.

Key Responsibilities

• Review project drawings, specifications, and bid documents
• Prepare detailed cost estimates including labor, materials, equipment, and subcontractors
• Solicit and evaluate vendor and subcontractor quotes
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with suppliers and internal teams
• Collaborate with project managers and operations to ensure accurate project handoff
• Track and manage multiple bids while meeting deadlines

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in mechanical estimating (HVAC, piping, or plumbing)
• Strong understanding of construction drawings and specifications
• Experience with estimating software and Microsoft Office
• Excellent organizational and communication skills
• Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment
