We are seeking a Yard/VPC Supervisor to oversee and coordinate the activities of employees involved in storing, transferring, and processing vehicles. This role is responsible for ensuring operational efficiency, safety, and compliance while managing multiple departments within the Vehicle Processing Center (VPC) in Philadelphia, PA.

Responsibilities
- Coordinate daily operations with auto center personnel and staff.
- Ensure a steady and organized flow of vehicles entering the VPC.
- Oversee various VPC departments, including team leads, vehicle prep teams, body shop/FINN Auto areas, and First Point of Rest department.
- Monitor department staffing levels and adjust as needed to meet production goals.
- Assist in the disciplinary process, addressing employee performance, behavioral, and conduct concerns.
- Ensure a safe and clean work environment, complying with OSHA, local, and state regulations.
- Conduct accident, injury, and incident investigations and provide detailed reports.
- Implement corrective actions to prevent future accidents and injuries.
- Work with other supervisors to coordinate departmental activities.
- Analyze and resolve operational challenges to maintain productivity.
- Establish and adjust work procedures to meet production schedules.
- Maintain clear communication and organization among teams.
- Perform additional duties as assigned by the General Manager.
- High School Diploma or GED required.
- Associate’s degree or equivalent from a two-year college or technical school preferred.
- Six months to one year of related experience/training, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Valid state-issued driver’s license (without restrictions).
- Frequent standing, walking, and reaching with hands/arms.
- Ability to climb, balance, kneel, stoop, crouch, and crawl.
- Regularly lift/move up to 25 pounds.
- Strong vision capabilities (close, distance, color, peripheral, and depth perception).
- Regular exposure to outdoor weather conditions.
- Frequent exposure to wet, humid conditions, extreme temperatures, and moving mechanical parts.
- Occasional exposure to fumes, airborne particles, and moderate noise levels.
