DIRECT HIRE: A fantastic opportunity for an experienced Quality Control Coordinator within the Construction Industry. This position is based in Boise, ID. Per diem/accommodation is available for the right candidate, as well as excellent GSA rates (see below).
Salary: $115k – $120k/year (based on experience)
Location: Boise, ID (on-site and travel, per diem, company vehicle)

Additional: $800 per month vehicle allowance, $1,200 annual phone allowance, $227 per day in GSA rates for travelers
Responsibilities:
- Read and interpret specifications, plans, and resource documents to determine requirements and planning procedures as outlined
- Document and update appropriate logs
- Conduct, attend, and participate in project meetings
- Obtain, review, and submit required submittals and maintain submittal register
- Coordinate the Three Phases of Control plan: Preparatory, Initial, and Final Phases
- Maintain quality control through frequent and regular inspection of work and work-in-progress
- Complete all reports and records in an accurate and timely manner
- Maintain an orderly and clean presence on the jobsite
- Complete job close-out procedures
- Manage RMS
Minimum Qualifications:
- A bachelor's degree in engineering, architecture, or construction management
- Minimum of five years of experience in healthcare renovation or a similar scope
- Working knowledge of field construction, including systems, practices, general engineering principles, construction techniques, materials, methods, and sequencing
- Detailed experience with quality control systems
- Experience in hazard identification and safety compliance
- Strong work ethic with a passion to fulfill commitments
- Sincere obligation to client satisfaction
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, organizational, multi-tasking, communication, and conflict management skills
- Experience as a QC Manager or with field management working on healthcare, veteran, or other federal projects
- Partnership approach to working with architects and engineers
- Proficient in MS Office Suite, PDF Editor, and Bluebeam with good computer skills
- Demonstrated ability to be a team player
- USACE experience
- Has worked with RMS
- USACE-CQM-C Certificate
