DIRECT HIRE: The Licensed Master Electrician oversees electrical installations, maintenance, and troubleshooting for high-end residential and commercial audio-visual, automation, and electrical projects. This role ensures compliance with all electrical codes and standards while delivering safe, efficient, and high-quality service.

Hourly Range: $40hr - $50hr

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan, install, and maintain electrical wiring, panels, circuits, and systems to support AV, lighting, and smart home integrations

  • Review blueprints, schematics, and project specifications to determine electrical requirements

  • Supervise, train, and mentor journeyman and apprentice electricians

  • Perform inspections, testing, and troubleshooting to ensure safety, functionality, and compliance with NEC and local codes

  • Coordinate with project managers, designers, and clients to deliver integrated electrical and AV solutions

  • Obtain permits, schedule inspections, and ensure adherence to state and local regulations

  • Manage material orders, vendor coordination, and cost tracking for electrical portions of projects

  • Maintain detailed project documentation, including work logs, reports, and compliance records
  • Lead safety meetings and enforce proper use of PPE and OSHA standards
  • Provide technical expertise to support complex system installations and custom design projects

Qualifications: 

  • Must be a Licensed Master Electrician for the state of Maryland
