📍 Location: Charlotte, NC (Local travel to project sites)
💰 Pay Range: $50,000–$70,000 annually
🕒 Schedule: Monday–Friday, 7:00 a.m.–4:30 p.m.
🕒 Weekly Hours: Full-time

Position Overview
This is a Direct Hire Opportunity
As a Safety Manager, you will lead and elevate the company wide safety culture while being highly visible in the field. You will proactively identify risks, enforce safety standards, coach teams, and partner with leadership to ensure safety supports productivity and project execution. This role requires a proactive, hands on leader who drives behavior, ownership, and results.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and promote a safety culture rooted in accountability and ownership
- Identify and mitigate risks before incidents occur
- Be present in the field coaching, training, and reinforcing expectations
- Develop, implement, and enforce practical and effective safety policies
- Hold teams accountable to high safety standards without compromising productivity
- Partner with project leadership to ensure safety supports project execution
- Investigate incidents to determine root causes and implement preventive measures
- Maintain clear communication with leadership and field teams regarding safety initiatives
Qualifications
Required
- Proven experience in safety leadership or management roles in construction, electrical, or industrial environments
- Knowledge of OSHA regulations, safety standards, and field compliance
- Strong coaching and communication skills with ability to influence teams in the field
- Proactive, results driven, and field focused with high standards for safety and performance
- Ability to travel locally to job sites consistently
Preferred
- Experience leading safety programs in electrical contracting or construction projects
- Certifications such as CSP, OSHA 30, or equivalent safety training
- Prior incident investigation experience and root cause analysis expertise
