💰 $55,000 – $70,000 + up to 5% annual bonus

Position Overview

Superior Skilled Trades is seeking a hands-on Industrial Pump Mechanic to join a growing assembly shop in Allendale, NJ. This role works closely with shop leadership and offers strong long-term growth, especially with an upcoming transition to a new, modern facility in the Morristown area.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone with strong mechanical experience who enjoys precision work, troubleshooting, and working with complex equipment.

Core Responsibilities

• Assemble and disassemble industrial pumps and related components
• Build complete pump systems from the ground up
• Perform pump testing using in-house test stands
• Diagnose issues and repair returned or malfunctioning equipment
• Read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings
• Maintain high standards of quality, accuracy, and workmanship

Required Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years of mechanical experience (industrial, automotive, machining, or similar)
• Strong mechanical aptitude and hands-on troubleshooting skills
• Experience operating forklifts and overhead cranes
• Proficient with hand tools and shop equipment
• Ability to read and understand blueprints and technical drawings
• High attention to detail and quality-focused mindset
• Basic computer skills

Preferred Experience

• Familiarity with shop equipment such as lathes, mills, and band saws
• Basic electrical knowledge, including experience with 3-phase motors

Compensation & Growth

• Salary range: $55K–$70K (based on experience)
• Annual bonus potential up to 5%
