DIRECT HIRE: A fantastic opportunity for an experienced Demolition Estimator to join a growing team. The successful candidate must have a minimum of 3–5 years of direct estimating experience in commercial, structural, and full-building demolition.
📍 Working Location: Greater Philadelphia, PA.
💰 Pay: $80K - $100K
Shift: Dayshift, M - F, 8am - 5pm (office and field)

Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare estimates for full-building, structural, and commercial demolition projects
- Review drawings, specifications, bid documents, and project requirements
- Perform detailed takeoffs and attend site walks and pre-bid meetings
- Develop demolition sequencing, means and methods, manpower, equipment, and project durations
- Estimate trucking, hauling, disposal, recycling, and material-handling costs
- Evaluate site access, neighboring structures, overhead hazards, and logistical constraints
- Solicit and review subcontractor, vendor, trucking, and disposal pricing
- Identify scope gaps, project risks, exclusions, and clarifications
- Prepare clear proposals and complete project turnovers to operations
- Review completed projects to compare estimated costs and production against actual results
- Maintain organized estimating records and historical cost information
- 3–5 years of demolition estimating experience required
- Experience estimating full-building tear downs and structural demolition
- Strong understanding of demolition equipment, production rates, and jobsite logistics
- Ability to read architectural, structural, civil, MEP, and demolition drawings
- Knowledge of concrete, steel, masonry, wood-frame, and mixed-construction buildings
- Understanding of trucking, disposal, recycling, salvage, and material handling
- Strong math, analytical, organization, and problem-solving skills
- Ability to manage multiple bids and deadlines
- Strong communication skills with customers, vendors, project managers, and field teams
- Develop detailed estimates based on project plans, specifications, site conditions, and scope of work
- Evaluate equipment requirements, labor needs, production rates, project duration, material handling, hauling, and disposal requirements
- Assess potential project risks, logistical challenges, site constraints, and other factors that may impact cost and execution
- Determine the true cost of performing the work safely, efficiently, and profitably
- Prepare accurate quantity takeoffs, labor estimates, equipment costs, subcontractor pricing, material costs, and disposal/hauling expenses
- Coordinate with operations and field personnel to ensure estimates provide a practical roadmap for project execution
- Develop estimates that support safe work practices, efficient production, accurate budgeting, and acceptable project margins
- Review project requirements and identify opportunities, exclusions, assumptions, and potential cost exposures before bid submission
- Support challenging commercial demolition projects while maintaining a strong focus on field execution, safety, integrity, accountability, and profitability
- Maintain a professional approach centered on availability, respect, safety, integrity, discipline, and reliable execution
