DIRECT HIRE: A fantastic opportunity with a leader in residential and commercial roofing and solar solutions, is seeking a skilled and dedicated Roofing Production Manager to join the team. This key leadership role will oversee production operations, ensuring all roofing projects are executed with excellence, on schedule, and within budget. The Roofing Production Manager will collaborate with field teams, contractors, and customers to drive project success and uphold the company’s reputation for superior service and quality craftsmanship. 

Salary: $100K - $110K (based on experience) + monthly bonus
Schedule: M - F, 5:30am - 3:30pm (+ on-call)

Key Responsibilities
  • Project Management: Plan, coordinate, and supervise roofing projects from inception to completion, ensuring all aspects are on schedule, within budget, and meet quality standards
  • Documentation and Reporting: Prepare and maintain accurate project records, reports, and documentation, including daily production reports, change orders, and project milestones
  • Team Leadership: Lead, train, and manage roofing production teams, including foremen, installers, and subcontractors, fostering a culture of safety, accountability, and continuous improvement
  • Quality Assurance: Conduct on-site inspections and quality checks, ensuring adherence to company standards and local building codes
  • Scheduling and Logistics: Develop and maintain production schedules, coordinate with suppliers, manage inventory, and oversee the timely delivery of materials to job sites
  • Customer Satisfaction: Act as the primary point of contact for clients during project execution, addressing concerns, providing updates, and ensuring an exceptional customer experience
  • Health and Safety Compliance: Enforce all company and OSHA safety protocols, conducting safety audits and implementing corrective actions when necessary
  • Budget Management: Oversee job costings, labor, and materials to maintain profitability, actively working to prevent and resolve any budget overruns
  • Ad Hoc Projects: Take on additional projects as needed, such as process improvement initiatives, cost-saving strategies, or special roofing and solar projects to meet evolving business needs
  • Will be responsible for vendor communication and materials (ordering, suppliers, inventory, etc.
Qualifications
  • Experience: Minimum of 5 years in roofing production or a related field, with at least 3 years in a supervisory or management role
  • Education: High school diploma or equivalent required; bachelor’s degree in construction management, business, or a related field preferred
  • Certifications: Relevant certifications in roofing or construction management are a plus (e.g., NRCA certification)

Skills:
 
  • Strong project management abilities, with a proven track record of managing complex roofing projects
  • Excellent leadership and interpersonal skills to effectively manage teams and communicate with clients and stakeholders
  • In-depth knowledge of roofing systems, construction methods, and local building code
  • Proficient in project management software and MS Office Suite, Excel, Word, Outlook
  • 2+ years of CRM systems experience (preferably Salesforce)
  • Forklift Certified is a plus (not essential)
Other: Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation. Ability to work flexible hours as needed to meet project demands.
