Convergint is looking for a full-time, enthusiastic, results driven and forward-thinking Security Badging Specialist to join our amazing culture. In this role, you will provision badging services across a data center campus and report to a Service Team Leader. What you’ll do with “Our Training and Your Experience”
  • Serve as a leading contributor, providing direction and leadership in program implementation and daily operations.
  • Execute complex, non-routine technical and business tasks requiring advanced expertise in access control and credential management systems.
  • Program, configure, and maintain Lenel OnGuard access control systems, including access levels, readers, and system integrations.
  • Manage credential management systems, ensuring accurate assignment and maintenance of user access levels.
  • Collaborate with site security, IT, and other lines of business (LOBs) to gather programming data and coordinate access permissions.
  • Partner with local and global management teams to define, build, and maintain approval roles within the credential management platform.
  • Provide general badging and credentialing support, troubleshooting and resolving service tickets in a timely manner.
  • Monitor system performance across Lenel and credential management platforms to ensure compliance with site standards and operational policies.
  • Review and respond to issues reported through the credential management support channels and email system.
  • Conduct root-cause investigations of download failures, access issues, and system communication errors to maintain reliability and security.
  • Maintain system documentation and change records in accordance with company and customer requirements.
  • Performs other duties and responsibilities as requested or required.
What You’ll Need
  • Lenel Advance Administrator certification and associated programming experience.
  • Experience with CrowdStrike is highly preferred.
  • Expertise in data center physical security systems software and hardware stack (e.g., video surveillance, access control, alarm systems, integrated security platforms). 
  • Strong organizational and clear communication skills, to include outstanding interpersonal and customer service skills.
  • General understanding of computer systems, security badging, and Microsoft applications.
  • Self-motivated and results-driven, with a strong work ethic and the ability to thrive both independently and in a team environment. 
  • Must demonstrate strong multitasking abilities to manage multiple different tasks.
  • A team player with the ability to effectively communicate internally across Convergint nation as well as externally with our customers and ECO system partners.
  • A valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.

Requirements:
Education:
  • High School Diploma.
  • Lenel Advance Administrator certification.
Minimum Experience:
  • Expertise in data center physical security systems software and hardware stack (e.g., video surveillance, access control, alarm systems, integrated security platforms).
  • Experience with CrowdStrike is highly preferred.


Position Location:
100% Onsite.
Working hours on a rotational shift roster, providing 24x7, 365 days a year service to the site.
