💰 Pay Range: $30.00–$31.50/hr
🕒 Shift: Monday–Friday, 3:00 p.m.–11:00 p.m.
🕒 Overtime: As needed
🕒 Weekly Hours: Full-time

Position Overview
This is a Direct Hire Opportunity
As a Stamping Technician, you will be responsible for keeping automated assembly equipment and molding systems operating efficiently while supporting production goals and minimizing downtime. This role requires strong troubleshooting skills, mechanical aptitude, and the ability to identify root causes of equipment malfunctions using a logical and methodical approach.
The technician will work closely with manufacturing, engineering, maintenance, and tooling teams to support production efficiency and continuous improvement initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
- Troubleshoot automated, semi-automated, and manual manufacturing equipment
- Diagnose mechanical and electrical equipment malfunctions
- Use a methodical approach to root cause problem solving
- Test electrical components and replace as needed
- Perform preventative and predictive maintenance
- Perform tooling changes as required within the department
- Support material handling operations as needed
- Identify tooling issues and coordinate with the tool room for repairs
- Lead setup technicians to ensure process efficiency
- Utilize 5S, Lean manufacturing, and continuous improvement tools daily
- Partner with maintenance and engineering teams to resolve equipment issues
- Support production plans and departmental goals
Qualifications
Required
- High school diploma or GED
- Progressive manufacturing experience
- Strong mechanical aptitude
- Understanding of PLC-controlled equipment
- Ability to troubleshoot electro-mechanical assemblies
- Ability to use a multimeter to check:
- Voltage
- Resistance
- Continuity
- Ability to communicate technical issues effectively with engineering and maintenance teams
- Ability to lift up to 40 lbs
- Ability to work overtime as needed
Preferred
- Degree or certificate from a technical school or college
- Forklift Certification
- Experience in automated manufacturing environments
- Experience with Lean manufacturing and 5S initiatives
