Concrete Estimator

Seeking an Estimator with concrete experience for a direct hire opportunity with our client in Hyattsville, MD.
Salary Range: $95,000 - $155,000 per year (based on experience)

Responsibilities:
- Conduct project walkthroughs with clients, ensuring accurate intake of project scope details.
- Prepare takeoffs from plan sets and estimate job costs.
- Present detailed bids, including a written scope of work, for submission.
- Attend inspections (city or public works) as required.
- Collaborate with Foreman and Project Manager to discuss project goals, potential roadblocks, and changes in scope.
- Perform additional duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
- 5+ years of hands-on experience in masonry and concrete (commercial sector).
- 5+ years of concrete estimating experience, including takeoffs.
- Proficiency with Plan Swift, Bluebeam, and Excel.
- In-depth knowledge of block, brick, stone, stucco, concrete, tile, grading, machine work, precast, repointing, drainage, waterproofing, and reading blueprints.
