Seeking a Project Manager with Caltrans and Concrete Project Experience for a direct hire opportunity with our client outside of San Francisco.

Salary is between $115,000 - $165,000+ per year (based on experience)
In this role, you will manage concrete construction projects in compliance with Caltrans specifications throughout Northern California. You’ll be responsible for overseeing project execution, managing teams, and ensuring quality, safety, and budget targets are met.
Manage civil concrete construction projects from start to finish
Oversee scheduling, budgeting, and job site coordination
Lead subcontractor coordination and vendor negotiations
Ensure Caltrans specification compliance and quality standards
Conduct cost tracking, labor analysis, and project reporting
Supervise and mentor Assistant PMs and Project Engineers
Coordinate proposals, contracts, and financial documentation
Build strong client relationships and lead internal communication
Run effective project meetings and presentations
Oversee procurement, purchasing, and invoicing
Preferred - Project Management experience in concrete construction
At least 2–3 years of Assistant PM experience in concrete construction
Deep knowledge of Caltrans specifications and procedures
Background in curb, gutter, sidewalks, ADA ramps, flatwork, retaining walls, and drainage
Bachelor's degree in construction or engineering preferred (or equivalent experience)
Experience with cost tracking, budgeting, and project documentation
Strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills
