Journeyman Electrician

Direct Hire: We are seeking skilled Journeyman Electrician  to work on commercial projects across various locations. This role includes a company-provided truck and the guidance of a Master Electrician. Pay: $27 - $30 per hour (DOE)

Job Responsibilities

• Use diagnostic tools such as voltmeters, oscilloscopes, and ohmmeters to test electrical systems, identify issues, ensure system compatibility, and confirm safety.
• Document job details, including testing results, observations, diagnoses, and resolutions for each project.
• Troubleshoot and repair electrical problems by replacing or installing components, wiring, or devices as necessary.
• Analyze electrical situations using testing devices, blueprints, and maps to determine appropriate steps for resolution.
• Ensure a safe work environment by following company safety guidelines and OSHA requirements; promptly report any policy or safety violations to your supervisor.
• Operate ladders, scaffolding, platforms, and lifts as required to work on electrical systems in various settings, including commercial properties.
• Perform regular maintenance on equipment to ensure safety and functionality, reporting any issues to your supervisor.

• Completion of an electrician apprenticeship
• Strong knowledge of the National Electrical Code (NEC) and local codes
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
• Proficiency in reading blueprints
• Ability to pass a criminal background check and drug test
• Valid state electrician license

• Experience working on commercial electrical systems and ground-up construction
