Tower Climber Top Hand

Raleigh, NC - Full Time

DIRECT HIRE: An awesome opportunity for an experienced Tower Climber Top Hand to join a growing company. 

Hourly Range: $21 - $25hr

Role & Responsibilities: 

  • Climb and work on communication towers up to several hundred feet

  • Install, maintain, and repair antennas, coaxial cables, fiber, mounts, and related equipment

  • Assist with rigging, hoisting, and positioning of tower components and materials

  • Follow directions from the foreman to ensure tasks are completed accurately and on schedule

  • Perform grounding, weatherproofing, and testing of installed systems

  • Conduct tower and site inspections, documenting conditions and work performed

  • Adhere to OSHA, company, and industry safety standards at all times

  • Operate hand tools, power tools, and test equipment safely and effectively

  • Assist in training and mentoring junior crew members

  • Travel to various job sites and work outdoors in diverse weather conditions

Qualifications:
  • Must have minimum 4 years' overall Tower Climber experience
  • Must have minimum 2 years' Top Hand experience
