Low Slope Roofing Superintendent
JC - Baltimore, MD - Full Time
Seeking a Low Slope Roofing Superintendent for a direct hire opportunity with our client in Baltimore, MD. This position will require travel throughout the DMV area.
This position offers full benefits including PTO, Medical, Dental, 401K, company vehicle, and bonus incentives!
Salary is between $75,000 - $85,0000 per year (based on experience)
Responsibilities:
- Day to day internal and external operations and administrative processes for roofing projects and company equipment.
- Support daily operations through processing documents, recording information, importing/entering data, and maintaining records while complying with company policies and procedures, manufacturer specifications and governmental regulations.
- Resolve issues, provide well thought out solutions, and escalate as needed to management for guidance.
- Conduct daily on-site inspections and manage roofing projects from the planning stages through completion and have responsibility for profit margins.
- Roofing project scheduling & management and daily oversight on job installations
- Supervise traveling crews.
- Create jobsite mobilization, logistical requirements and demobilization plans and perform daily data entry.
- Successfully manage job costs & gross profit margins.
Qualifications:
- 5+ years’ experience in low slope roofing installation & project management.
- Ability to take initiative, own tasks, work independently and be flexible regarding changing priorities.
- Able to balance competing priorities, complex situations, and tight deadlines.
- Experience assessing and preparing documentation related to operational processes.
- Physical demands: mobility to easily lift 50lbs, frequently set-up & climb ladders, work on elevated roof surfaces, stand/kneel/walk for extended periods and be able to work outside in extreme weather conditions.
- Strong communication, time management and presentation skills.
- Drivers License and a clean driving record.
