Key Responsibilities:
Boots-to-the-ground leader that can execute large-scale, mission-critical construction projects, from groundbreaking through commissioning and handoff
Own daily site operations, coordinate trades, subcontractors, GC relationships and union representatives simultaneously
Enforce safety, quality standards and drive schedules to aggressive delivery milestones
Read and interpret complex structural, mechanical and electrical drawings, specs, RFI's and resolve field issues quickly
Manage onsite logistics, materials and equipment coordination
Progress reporting to internal stakeholders and external partners is vital
Required Skills/Qualifications:
Demonstrated experience leading on-site construction activities for large-scale, mission-critical infrastructure projects
Proven ability to manage multiple subcontractors while coordinating effectively with general contractors, owners, and union representatives
Strong working knowledge of applicable building codes, safety regulations, and industry standards, including OSHA, NFPA, and NEC requirements
Ability to read, interpret, and apply structural, mechanical, and electrical drawings, specifications, submittals, and Requests for Information (RFIs)
Experience managing project schedules, site logistics, material deliveries, equipment coordination, and day-to-day field operations
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience supporting hyperscale data center construction projects exceeding 50 MW and $100 million in value
Knowledge of liquid cooling systems and high-density power infrastructure
Experience overseeing or coordinating commissioning activities for mission-critical facilities
Physical Demands:
Ability to walk active construction sites for extended periods throughout the day
Frequent climbing of stairs, ladders, and access platforms in multi-story facilities
Ability to stand, bend, kneel, crouch, and reach while inspecting equipment and installations
Must be able to work in indoor and outdoor environments, including exposure to varying weather conditions, noise, dust, and construction activities
Ability to lift, carry, push, or pull up to 25 pounds regularly and up to 50 pounds occasionally
Ability to wear required PPE, including hard hat, safety glasses, gloves, steel-toe boots, hearing protection, and fall protection equipment as required
Must be capable of accessing confined spaces, elevated work areas, and equipment rooms when necessary
Ability to read plans, equipment labels, test instruments, and computer screens
Frequent use of laptops, tablets, and mobile devices for documentation, reporting, and commissioning activities
Ability to travel as required and work extended hours, weekends, or shift schedules
