Bencher/Sizer Weld Support

Seeking a Bencher/Sizer Weld Support for a direct hire opportunity with our client in Hebron, KY.

This position offers full benefits including PTO, Medical, Dental and 401k! 

Pay is between $17 - $24 per hour (based on experience)

In this hands-on role, you will work with welded metal components, manipulating and adjusting parts post-welding to ensure dimensional tolerances and specifications are met. This position is ideal for individuals with a background in working with welded assemblies, metal fabrication, or even automotive body repair.

Responsibilities:

• Perform precision sizing and benching of welded components to restore or maintain dimensional accuracy

• Use hand tools, fixtures, and measuring devices to manipulate and verify metal parts

• Inspect and confirm parts meet required tolerances following welding operations

• Collaborate with welders, machinists, and quality inspectors to ensure high product standards

• Read and interpret technical specifications, drawings, or work instructions

• Maintain a clean and safe work environment

Qualifications:

• Hands-on experience working with welded metal parts (required)

• Background in auto body repair, metalworking, fabrication, or related trade is strongly preferred

• Familiarity with measurement tools and precision tolerance requirements

• Strong attention to detail and manual dexterity

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

• High school diploma or GED preferred
