DIRECT HIRE: Seeking an experienced Pipe Foreman to lead and supervise pipeline construction projects from start to finish. As a key leader on the construction site, you will oversee the installation, maintenance, and repair of pipeline systems, ensuring safety, quality, and efficiency. Your expertise in construction management, schematics interpretation, and team supervision will drive project success while maintaining compliance with all safety standards and contractual obligations. Responsibilities:
Lead and supervise construction crews in the installation and maintenance of pipelines, ensuring adherence to project plans, schematics, and specifications
Coordinate daily activities on-site, including scheduling, resource allocation, and workflow management
Read blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to accurately execute pipeline layouts and installations
Oversee quality control processes, ensuring all work meets industry standards and project requirements
Manage safety protocols by enforcing OSHA regulations and conducting regular safety meetings; ensure all team members are trained in proper safety procedures
Monitor project budgets and costs using HeavyBid or similar estimating tools; track progress against project schedules
Conduct inspections using tools like an ohmmeter to test electrical components of pipeline systems; troubleshoot issues as they arise
Skills/Experience:
Proven management experience supervising construction crews in pipeline or heavy civil projects
Extensive construction site experience with a strong understanding of construction management
Demonstrated ability to read blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings accurately
Knowledge of OSHA safety standards specific to pipeline construction environments
Hands-on experience with quality control procedures and troubleshooting electrical or mechanical issues using tools like an ohmmeter
Track daily progress and crew hours
Ensure equipment is used safely and maintained properly
Willingness to work in the field alongside the crew
Ability to work outdoors in all weather conditions
Strong communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills
