What You’ll Do
As a Licensed Managing Electrician, you’ll play a critical role in supporting the field operations and mentoring the next generation of electricians. You will:
Provide field support through in-person and remote troubleshooting, coaching, and technical guidance.
Lead by example in the field, assisting with complex installations and preparing job sites for first-time success.
Manage hiring, onboarding, and retention strategies to grow a top-tier team of field electricians and technicians.
Establish and maintain an electrical apprenticeship program with a focus on inclusivity and skill-building.
Deliver performance reviews, feedback, and professional development opportunities to your team.
Identify gaps in training, tools, or procedures, and drive continuous improvement initiatives across the field organization.
Required Qualifications
Active Master Electrician license in the state of Michigan
At least 8 years of residential electrical installation experience
Minimum 5 years of supervisory experience managing field electricians
Strong background in EV charging, home energy storage, and electrification technologies
Ability to read and interpret electrical plans, one-line diagrams, and installation specs
Willingness to travel 25–30% nationally to support installation hubs
Preferred Qualifications
Passion for training, mentorship, and team development
Experience creating or delivering educational programs on national/regional electrical codes
Familiarity with systems and tools that boost team performance and operational efficiency
Strong cross-functional collaboration skills
Effective problem-solver and critical thinker with a growth mindset
Comfortable operating in a fast-paced, startup environment with evolving priorities
