Superior Skilled Trades is seeking a Security Technology Product Manager for a direct hire opportunity supporting global physical security operations for large-scale facilities and data center environments. This position plays a key role in shaping the roadmap, design, and lifecycle management of integrated physical security systems — including access control, video surveillance, and system integrations.
As the Security Technology Product Manager, you’ll collaborate with cross-functional teams — from engineering and operations to field integrators and compliance — to deliver scalable, secure, and high-performing physical security solutions. You’ll own the roadmap for security technologies, align system standards with organizational goals, and ensure seamless integration across global environments.
This is a strategic and technical role suited for professionals who thrive in complex, enterprise-level settings and enjoy driving innovation, consistency, and quality across multiple stakeholders.
Develop, document, and maintain security system standards in collaboration with engineering, operations, and vendor teams.
Own the product roadmap for physical security technologies, ensuring scalability and compliance with business and regulatory standards.
Translate stakeholder and user feedback into actionable product requirements and prioritize features based on value and feasibility.
Oversee product lifecycle management — from pilot and rollout to upgrades and decommissioning.
Partner with integrators, manufacturers, and internal teams to verify compatibility, manage dependencies, and maintain system performance.
Ensure adherence to cybersecurity and compliance frameworks (e.g., NDAA, FIPS, GDPR).
Track KPIs, analyze system performance, and implement continuous improvements.
Manage and maintain a catalog of approved systems and configurations to ensure global consistency.
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Security Technology, or a related field.
3–7 years of experience in product management — ideally within security, IoT, or enterprise software/hardware.
Certifications such as PMP, PgMP, CSPO, or AIPMM are strongly preferred.
Hands-on experience with physical security systems (Lenel, Genetec, Avigilon, Axis, or similar).
Proven ability to manage technical integrations and cross-platform compatibility.
Familiarity with cloud-connected systems, APIs, and edge computing environments.
Strong analytical and communication skills, with the ability to lead initiatives and build consensus across diverse teams.
Knowledge of data center or large-scale facility environments is highly desirable.
Understanding of access control, video surveillance, and system integration workflows.
Experience with cybersecurity, identity management, and compliance standards.
Excellent technical writing, documentation, and presentation skills.
Highly self-motivated, organized, and detail-oriented with a proactive approach to problem solving.
Competitive base salary and annual performance incentives
Medical, dental, and vision insurance
401(k) with company match
Paid holidays and generous PTO
Life and disability insurance
