This is a Direct Hire Opportunity. As a Manufacturing Operator – Calendar, you will operate and monitor calendering equipment used in pharmaceutical packaging production. You will be responsible for machine setup, quality inspection, troubleshooting, and ensuring all production activities meet safety, quality, and regulatory standards.
Operate and monitor calendering machines to produce materials according to production specifications.
Set up machinery by adjusting rollers, temperature, speed, and pressure to achieve required product quality and thickness.
Inspect materials during production to ensure compliance with quality control and cGMP standards.
Load raw materials and unload finished products for packaging or further processing.
Perform routine equipment cleaning, maintenance, and minor troubleshooting.
Record production data including material usage, output quantities, and machine performance.
Collaborate with production and quality teams to meet schedules and resolve process issues.
Follow all safety procedures, including PPE and lockout/tagout requirements.
High School Diploma or GED required (verified prior to start).
1–3 years of manufacturing equipment operating experience.
Experience with troubleshooting, production yields, and working within cGMP and ISO standards.
Strong mathematical and problem-solving skills.
Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
Must be able to work a 24/7 rotating shift schedule.
Must be legally authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship.
Must pass a background check and drug screening.
