Mechanical Estimator
Direct Hire Opportunity with Superior Skilled Trades
We are seeking an experienced Mechanical Estimator to join a growing team. This role is responsible for preparing accurate cost estimates for commercial mechanical projects, including HVAC, piping, and plumbing systems.
Key Responsibilities
- Review project drawings, specifications, and bid documents
- Prepare detailed cost estimates including labor, materials, equipment, and subcontractors
- Solicit and evaluate vendor and subcontractor quotes
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with suppliers and internal teams
- Collaborate with project managers and operations to ensure accurate project handoff
- Track and manage multiple bids while meeting deadlines
Qualifications
- 3+ years of experience in mechanical estimating (HVAC, piping, or plumbing)
- Strong understanding of construction drawings and specifications
- Experience with estimating software and Microsoft Office
- Excellent organizational and communication skills
- Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment
