Traffic Signal Electrician

NC - Sanford, FL - Full Time

We are seeking a Traffic Signal Foreman with experience in traffic signals, ITS, lighting, and signing for a direct hire opportunity with our client, an established electrical company specializing in highway lighting and traffic signalization projects.

Location: Kissimmee, FL
Salary: $26 - $30+ per hour, plus a 10% differential for night work and possible bonuses

Responsibilities:

  • Lead crews in the installation of traffic signals, ITS, lighting, and signing.
  • Install controller cabinets, mast arms, electrical conductors, traffic signals, light poles/fixtures, signing, cameras, and ITS-related items.
  • Program, maintain, and repair flashing school zone sign controls and CCTV equipment.
  • Coordinate with job superintendent and project manager.
  • Prioritize and schedule work tasks and assignments.
  • Determine required materials and equipment.
  • Assist in on-site work duties.

Qualifications:

  • Experience in installing, repairing, and maintaining traffic signal and ITS electrical systems.
  • IMSA Certification preferred.
  • CDL preferred.
  • Valid Driver's License required.
  • Ability to handle physical demands including standing, walking, kneeling, bending, and lifting at least 50 lbs.
