Shop Mechanic Supervisor
Ridgewood, NJ - Full Time
DIRECT HIRE: A fantastic opportunity for an experienced Shop Mechanic Supervisor in the Ridgewood, NJ. area.

Salary is between $80,000 - $95,000 per year (based on experience), plus bonuses
In this role you will work directly with the shop manager and will have opportunities for advancement! Excellent problem-solving skills, mechanical aptitude and computer proficiency will ensure success in this critical position within the company. The Technical element of this position is extremely important.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Assembly and disassembly of pumps
- Testing pumps on our in-house test stand
- Assembling pump systems and repairing returned equipment
- Wiring electric motors
Skills Required:
- Tube bending/pipe layout and fitting
- Use of measuring instruments (micrometers, veneer calipers)
- Metric vs Imperial measurement conversion knowledge
- Forklift experience - no certification needed
Skills Preferred (not required):
- Basic electrical wiring
- Operating lathes, milling machines, band saws, etc.
- Light welding ability (i.e., can make bracketry, etc.) - no license needed
Qualifications:
- Minimum 5 Years Mechanical experience as an industrial, machine, or automobile mechanic, or similar
- Strong references
