Maintenance Technician

Paris, KY - Full Time

DIRECT HIRE: This role requires performing preventative and reactive maintenance in an industrial setting.

📍 Working Location: Paris, KY.
💰 Pay: $30hr - $38hr (depending on experience)
Schedule: A rotating 2-3-2 schedule is a 14-day repeating work cycle that uses 12-hour shifts and four teams to provide continuous 24/7 coverage.
The 14-Day Cycle
The name 2-3-2 describes the exact sequence of working days and days off for an employee over a two-week period:
  • Week 1:
    • Work 2 days (e.g., Monday and Tuesday)
    • Off 2 days (e.g., Wednesday and Thursday)
    • Work 3 days (e.g., Friday, Saturday, and Sunday) 
  • Week 2:
    • Off 2 days (e.g., Monday and Tuesday)
    • Work 2 days (e.g., Wednesday and Thursday)
    • Off 3 days (e.g., Friday, Saturday, and Sunday) 
Key Features
  • Every Other Weekend Off: Because Week 1 ends with working the weekend and Week 2 ends with a 3-day weekend off, employees get every alternate weekend entirely free.
  • Low Consecutive Workdays: Workers never work more than three consecutive 12-hour shifts in a row.
  • Hours Worked: Employees work 4 shifts (48 hours) in Week 1 and 3 shifts (36 hours) in Week 2, averaging 42 hours per week over the 14-day cycle (often balanced with a short-cycle adjustment or overtime tracking).
Day and Night Rotation: Teams typically rotate between day and night shifts every two weeks or four weeks to distribute less desirable hours fairly.

Role & Responsibilities:
  • Mechanical Duties: Troubleshoot and repair manufacturing equipment, including mechanical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems.
  • Electrical Duties: Work with PLC controls (Fanuc desired), read schematics, and wire 480-volt motor circuits.
  • Building Maintenance: Complete preventative and reactive maintenance on the production floor and facility building.
  • Administrative: Maintain work orders, parts usage, and daily maintenance logs
Qualifications:
  • Experience: Minimum of 2 years of hands-on Mechanical/ Electrical experience in an Industrial maintenance environment
  • Education: High School Diploma
  • Safety-conscious, team-player
