Project Geologist (PG Licensed) – Environmental Consulting

We are a growing environmental consulting firm providing a full range of environmental engineering, planning, compliance, remediation, and construction services throughout California. We are seeking a motivated and experienced California Licensed Professional Geologist (PG) who enjoys both field and office work and thrives in a collaborative, team-oriented environment.

Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and review technical reports, regulatory documents, and field documentation with a strong emphasis on high-quality technical writing
- Conduct and oversee:
- Site investigations
- Subsurface exploration
- Groundwater monitoring
- Environmental site assessments
- Interpret environmental data and develop practical remediation solutions
- Coordinate with clients, subcontractors, and regulatory agencies professionally and effectively
- Support project management activities including budgeting, scheduling, and scope development
- Mentor and collaborate with junior staff in both field and office settings
Qualifications
- Active California Professional Geologist (PG) license – REQUIRED
- Bachelor’s degree in Geology, Environmental Science, or related field
(Master’s degree preferred) - 4–8 years of environmental consulting experience
- Strong technical writing and documentation skills
- Experience with groundwater monitoring, remediation systems, and environmental investigations
- Familiarity with California environmental regulations and agency processes
- Current OSHA 40-Hour HAZWOPER certification with annual refresher
- Valid driver’s license with clean driving record
- Ability to pass pre-employment and annual drug/alcohol screening
