Seeking an experienced 2nd shift Brake Press Operator for a direct hire opportunity in Hartland, WI. Must be skilled in reading blueprints, setting up and operating forming equipment, and verifying part accuracy using precision measuring tools.
Pay: $21 - $29/hour
Hours: 2:00 pm - 10:00 pm Monday - Friday

Key Responsibilities
- Read and interpret blueprints and specifications to form production parts accurately.
- Set up, program, and operate brake press forming equipment.
- Position and align workpieces precisely in the machine.
- Use precision measuring instruments to ensure conformance to specifications.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area; follow housekeeping and safety standards.
- Comply with all quality and safety regulations and production procedures.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required.
- 2+ years of brake press operation experience in a manufacturing environment.
- Ability to perform basic shop math and metric conversions.
- Knowledge of European, Wila, and custom tooling preferred.
- Experience with Safan and Accurpress press brakes desired.
- Ability to read and understand blueprints, routings, and specifications.
- Strong communication skills and teamwork mindset.
Physical Requirements
- Ability to stand for long periods and perform repetitive tasks.
- Regularly lift up to 25 lbs, occasionally up to 50 lbs.
- Frequent use of hands and arms to handle materials and operate machinery.
- Visual ability to perform detailed, close-range inspection work.
Work Environment
- Fast-paced factory/manufacturing environment.
- Exposure to moving mechanical parts, loud noise, and airborne particles.
- Occasional exposure to chemicals or humid conditions.
- Personal protective equipment (PPE) provided and required.
