We have an immediate need for an experienced Construction Surveyor to support commercial and industrial projects in the Appleton area. This is a direct-hire opportunity offering competitive pay, company truck, per diem, comprehensive benefits, and long-term, steady employment.
Candidates must have experience with Trimble surveying equipment, demonstrate strong technical expertise in surveying and construction layout, and be capable of working independently and in a team environment. Occasional travel (~20%) to project sites and flexible hours may be required.

The Construction Surveyor will perform field surveys, verify site layout and elevations, and ensure projects meet design specifications. This role requires close collaboration with project managers, engineers, and field crews, and involves hands-on work with foundations, paving, flatwork, and other construction elements. Attention to detail, problem-solving skills, and the ability to interpret construction plans are essential.
Conduct field surveys using Trimble total stations, GPS, and laser levels
Verify foundation, sitework, paving, and flatwork layout, alignment, and elevation before and after concrete pours
Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and contractors to resolve discrepancies
Maintain and calibrate surveying equipment to ensure accuracy
Prepare as-built surveys for completed projects
Interpret construction drawings and blueprints for proper project placement
Communicate regularly with project managers on survey progress
Follow all safety regulations and company protocols
3–5 years of surveying or construction experience, must have Trimble equipment experience
Proficient with surveying techniques, total stations, GPS, and laser levels
Strong ability to read and interpret construction drawings, blueprints, and site plans
Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills
Strong communication and organizational abilities
Valid Driver’s License; ability to travel ~20% to project sites
Flexible availability, including overtime when necessary
