Shifts:1st Shift: M–F, 6:00 AM – 2:00 PM

Weekly Hours: 40 hours, optional overtime

Job Description:
This is a Direct Hire Opportunity. As a Brake Press Operator, you will operate Safan Darley brake press equipment to bend and form sheets of steel according to blueprint specifications. The role requires precision, attention to detail, and the ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment. Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Read and interpret blueprints, specifications, and routings to form production parts.
• Set up, program, and operate the brake press.
• Position and accurately orient steel sheets in the machine.
• Use precision measuring devices to ensure work conforms to specifications.
• Follow all housekeeping and cleanup procedures.
• Comply with all quality and safety standards.

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum 2 years’ experience operating a brake press.
• Basic shop math skills; must perform metric conversions.
• Knowledge of European, Wila, or custom tooling desired.
• Experience with a variety of materials and programming desired.
• Experience with Safan and Accurpress press brakes desired.
• Good oral and written communication skills.
• Ability to read and understand blueprints, specifications, and routings.

• Ability to stand for long periods and perform repetitive tasks.
• Regularly lift up to 25 lbs, occasionally up to 50 lbs.
• Frequent use of hands and arms to handle materials and operate machinery.
• Visual ability to perform detailed, close-range inspection work.
