Superior Skilled Trades (SST) is seeking an experienced Direct HireRecruiter to join our team! You will source, screen, and interview candidates for permanent roles for our skilled trades / construction industry clients, and manage / coordinate the interview and hiring process. You’ll be a strategic partner with our hiring managers and ensure a positive experience for all candidates.
Location: Remote
Pay Range: $65,000-$75,000/yr (based on experience) + monthly incentive based on placements
Qualifications
3+ years recruiting experience (Direct Hire preferred)
Familiarity with skilled trades / construction industry roles preferred
Strong sourcing skills
Exceptional verbal and written communication skills for interacting with candidates and stakeholders at all levels
Ability to work well under pressure, quickly addressing client needs and meeting deadlines
Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple open positions and competing priorities
Key Responsibilities
Source, screen, and interview candidates for permanent skilled trades positions using various channels like LinkedIn, job boards, and social media.
Write and post compelling job descriptions on relevant platforms.
Build and maintain strong relationships with hiring managers to understand their needs and become a trusted advisor.
Conduct behavioral-based interviews and assess candidates for both skills and cultural fit.
Schedule interviews between candidates and clients / hiring teams.
Manage the full hiring lifecycle, from initial consultation and job posting to extending offers and ensuring smooth onboarding.
Ensure a positive and competitive experience for candidates throughout the process to attract high-quality talent.
