Superior Skilled Trades (SST) is seeking an experienced Direct Hire Recruiter to join our team! You will source, screen, and interview candidates for permanent roles for our skilled trades / construction industry clients, and manage / coordinate the interview and hiring process. You’ll be a strategic partner with our hiring managers and ensure a positive experience for all candidates.

Qualifications
- 3+ years recruiting experience (Direct Hire preferred)
- Familiarity with skilled trades / construction industry roles preferred
- Strong sourcing skills
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills for interacting with candidates and stakeholders at all levels
- Ability to work well under pressure, quickly addressing client needs and meeting deadlines
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple open positions and competing priorities
Key Responsibilities
- Source, screen, and interview candidates for permanent skilled trades positions using various channels like LinkedIn, job boards, and social media.
- Write and post compelling job descriptions on relevant platforms.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with hiring managers to understand their needs and become a trusted advisor.
- Conduct behavioral-based interviews and assess candidates for both skills and cultural fit.
- Schedule interviews between candidates and clients / hiring teams.
- Manage the full hiring lifecycle, from initial consultation and job posting to extending offers and ensuring smooth onboarding.
- Ensure a positive and competitive experience for candidates throughout the process to attract high-quality talent.
