Contracts Specialist- Solar Industry

Job Title: Contract Specialist
Location: Fort Lauderdale, FL
Type: Direct Hire- Full-Time, Exempt

As a Contract Specialist, you'll manage and oversee the contract lifecycle, ensuring all agreements are executed efficiently and comply with company policies and industry standards. You will be responsible for issuing contracts, vendor management, drafting scopes of work, and handling the Request for Proposal (RFP) process.

Key Responsibilities:

• Contract Management: Issue and manage contracts using Procore and DocuSign; ensure all contracts are signed and tracked.
• Vendor Management: Identify, assess, and maintain relationships with vendors, negotiating favorable terms.
• Scope of Work Development: Draft and refine scopes of work with project managers, ensuring alignment with project goals.
• RFP Process: Develop and issue detailed RFPs, manage the process, and evaluate vendor proposals.
• Quote Management: Analyze and compare vendor proposals to ensure project specifications and budgets are met.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in business administration or related field.
• 5+ years of experience in contract management or procurement.
• Proficiency in MS Word, MS Excel, Procore, and DocuSign.
• Strong understanding of contract law and industry standards.
• Excellent negotiation and communication skills.

Preferred:

• Contract Management certification (e.g., CPCM, CFCM, CCCM).
• Construction industry experience.
