Lead and supervise HVAC service technicians performing installation, repair, replacement, and maintenance of commercial HVAC and refrigeration systems
Manage turnkey HVAC service projects from diagnosis and proposal through completion and system commissioning
Coordinate service calls, equipment replacements, and repair projects to ensure minimal disruption to customer operations
Diagnose complex HVAC system issues including rooftop units (RTUs), chillers, split systems, heat pumps, air handlers, and building control systems
Direct installation and replacement of major HVAC components including compressors, motors, coils, ductwork, and control systems
Ensure all HVAC service and installation work complies with OSHA regulations and applicable building codes
Monitor job progress, technician productivity, and service quality to ensure projects meet timelines and performance expectations
Coordinate procurement of equipment, materials, and replacement components necessary for turnkey service projects
Communicate directly with customers regarding system performance, repair recommendations, project timelines, and service outcomes
Review service documentation, job reports, and maintenance records to ensure accurate reporting and billing
Provide technical guidance and mentoring to technicians, supporting skill development and troubleshooting assistance
Perform advanced diagnostics, system testing, and commissioning to verify proper HVAC system operation after repairs or replacements
Support preventative maintenance programs to improve equipment reliability and reduce long-term service costs
Maintain company service vehicles, tools, and equipment used for HVAC service operations
Minimum 7 years of commercial HVAC service experience
3+ years of leadership of supervisory experience in HVAC service or field operations
Strong knowledge of commercial HVAC equipment including rooftop units, split systems, chillers, air handlers, refrigeration systems, and building automation controls
EPA Section 608 Certification required
Ability to diagnose complex HVAC mechanical and electrical issues
Experience managing service technicians and coordinating field service operations
Valid driver’s license and ability to travel between commercial service locations
Technical training, trade school certification, or HVAC license preferred
