Facilities / Utility Systems Repairer

Seeking a Utility Systems Repairer-Operator with Extensive Multi-Trade Experience for a Direct Hire Opportunity with Our Client in Montgomery county.

Salary: Between $35 - $40 per hour

Summary: In this role, you will utilize comprehensive knowledge and advanced skills in multiple trades to operate, monitor, maintain, and repair utility systems, ensuring their reliable functionality under diverse load conditions.

Responsibilities:

• Independently operate utility systems, adapting to varying load conditions.
• Perform detailed inspections, shift rounds, and preventive maintenance on utility systems and related equipment.
• Monitor, troubleshoot, and repair multiple utility systems and associated facilities.
• Apply technical expertise to equipment assembly, repair, and maintenance.
• Utilize and maintain tools and equipment essential for utility systems repair and operations.
• Adhere to safety protocols while handling hazardous materials or working in adverse weather conditions.

Qualifications:

• U.S. Citizenship or proof of being a U.S. National required by the time of appointment.
• Proven ability to perform duties without more than normal supervision.
• Extensive knowledge of equipment assembly, repair, and technical practices.
• Proficiency in interpreting blueprints, instructions, and specifications.
• Skilled in using and maintaining precision tools and measuring instruments.
• Must possess a valid state motor vehicle license.
• Ability to lift/move items weighing up to 50 lbs. and stand for prolonged periods.
• Capable of working in hazardous environments, adverse weather, and cramped spaces.

Additional Requirements:

• Subject to background checks, medical examination, and verification of qualifications.
• Must be willing to work weekends, holidays, and rotational or on-call shifts.
• Emergency Essential designation – must be ready to report during all circumstances.
